- Is the ascent to the Mavicure hills easy? It is somewhat difficult; access involves a 1.2-kilometer climb with a trail incline from 92 to 1,200 meters above sea level. You can see more information in the video we have posted here.
- How can I get to Inírida? The airline Satena has two flights departing from Bogotá: one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
- Is there phone signal? If you use the Claro operator, you will have good coverage in most areas; if you use Movistar, you will not have very good coverage.
- I want to stay more days, would you help us coordinate lodging and other activities? Of course, we can help you manage your lodging and recommend additional plans. However, we always recommend that these plans be managed through known individuals, as you could incur extra costs.
- 👕 Lightweight, ultra-quick-drying clothing and light colors: heat and humidity are extreme.
- 🧥 Long-sleeved shirt made of cool fabric to protect against mosquitoes in the jungle and the sun on the boat.
- 🩳 Lightweight, quick-drying long pants for the jungle + shorts for the river and boat.
- 🩴 Sandals with grip for the boat and riverbanks (they get wet constantly).
- 🥾 Closed-toe shoes with grip soles for jungle hikes.
- 🧦 Quick-drying socks, 2-3 spare pairs in a sealed bag.
- 🧢 Wide-brimmed cap or hat: there is no shade on the boat.
- 🧴 Water-resistant sunscreen 50+: reapply every 2 hours on the river.
- 🦟 Industrial repellent with 30%+ DEET: mosquitoes in the jungle are aggressive, especially at sunrise and sunset.
- 💧 Reusable thermos or bottle to stay hydrated all day.
- 🎒 Dry bag to protect cell phone, documents, and spare clothes from water on the boat.
- 📱 External battery: there are no power outlets during the tour.
- 🔦 Headlamp for the nights (there is no street lighting).
- 💊 Personal medications and identity document in a sealed bag.

💳 Payment and booking policies
- Booking: Confirm your spot with 30% of the total value. Send the receipt via WhatsApp. The deposit is non-refundable in cash.
- Remaining balance (70%): To be paid on the day of the tour, before starting the activity, in cash or via verified transfer.
⚠️ Cancellation and rescheduling
- 7 or more days in advance: Reschedule at no cost. 100% of your deposit remains as credit (valid for 6 months).
- Between 3 and 6 days before: Reschedule with a penalty of 20% of the total value for logistical expenses.
- Less than 48 hours or No-Show: Last-minute cancellation, failure to attend, or lack of punctuality implies the loss of 30% of the total value, with no right to reschedule.
- Suspension during the route: Due to hazardous weather, road closures, or authority decisions, if the activity must be suspended once started, the trip will be rescheduled. Only unrecoverable expenses will be deducted, and the balance will remain as your credit.
