From Güicán, you will embark on hikes to iconic destinations such as the Púlpito del Diablo and the Laguna Grande de la Sierra, enjoying nature at its finest.

Ideal for those with good physical condition, this route is demanding and requires acclimatization to altitude changes. High mountain trails and a challenging environment await you along more than 10 kilometers, where every step will bring you closer to spectacular views and memorable moments.

DAY 1:

This lodging has a wide variety of rooms: options for two people with a double bed or two single beds, and rooms for four people. Additionally, it is located just a few blocks from the main park of Güicán.

🏨 How much does an additional night cost? $70,000 per person in a private room near the park (includes Wi-Fi, private bathroom, TV, and hot water). Additional meals cost approx. $15,000 each.
🚌 How to get to Güicán from Bogotá? You must take a bus from the Expreso Paz del Río company from the Bogotá Terminal (departures at 6 am, 2 pm, 6 pm, and 8 pm). Approximate duration: 11 hours.
⛰️ Which routes can I choose? Total of approx. 18 km.
Laguna Grande: Total of approx. 1 km.
Ritacuba Blanco: Total of approx. 20 km.
🎒 Can I do additional routes? Yes, it has a cost of $900,000 per group (includes guide, transportation, entrance fees, and insurance).
🗓️ Can I travel any day? Yes, but remember that the trails have limited capacity set by National Parks, especially in high season. Book in advance!

🧑🏫 Authorized guide: Entry must be done with an authorized guide and in compliance with the conditions established by the Park.

👕 First thermal layer (long sleeves), synthetic material or merino wool (never cotton: it retains sweat and chills you)

🥾 Waterproof high-cut trekking boots, already broken in
🧤 Waterproof gloves plus a thin spare pair
🧢 Thermal hat that covers the ears and a buff for neck and face
🕶️ Sunglasses with UV filter: on snow, radiation reflects and can cause temporary blindness
🧴 Sunscreen 50+ and lip balm with protection
📱 Thermal cover for the cell phone: in the glacier, the cold drains the battery in minutes

💳 Payment and booking policies

Booking: You confirm your spot with 40% of the total value by sending the receipt to this chat. Payments are non-refundable in cash.
Balance (60%): Must be paid 10 days before the departure date, via transfer or cash.
Maximum retention: Retention percentages are calculated on the total value of the tour, up to the maximum amount you have paid. If you only paid the deposit (40%), the most you can lose is that deposit.

⚠️ Cancellation and rescheduling

Cancellation more than 45 days in advance: 30% retention of the total value. The rest remains as a credit for a future trip.
Cancellation between 30 and 44 days in advance: 30% retention + 20% penalty for logistical costs.
Cancellation between 11 and 29 days in advance: 40% retention of the total value. Since you have only paid the deposit (40%) by this point, it is fully retained; there is no refund.
Cancellation 10 days or less in advance: 100% retention. By this point, you have paid the total balance and costs with providers (transportation, guide, insurance, permits) are committed. There is no refund or rescheduling.
Transferring your spot: You can transfer your spot to another person up to 48 hours before departure, subject to prior approval. This way, you don't lose what you paid if you can't go but someone you trust can.
Minimum group not reached: If the minimum group is not met, the date will be rescheduled or 100% of the payment will be refunded.
Weather or force majeure: The departure will be rescheduled or a 100% credit voucher will be issued.
