Itinerary
Day 1:
Cocora Valley - Ascent
- 🥐 Breakfast in Salento and transfer to Cocora Valley.
- 🥾 19 km trek to the accommodation (ascent).

Day 2:
Acclimatization
- 🥐 Breakfast (7:00 am).
- 🥾 Acclimatization hike (5 km).

Day 3:
Summit Attempt
- 🌙 12:00 am: Nevado del Tolima summit attempt.
- 🍳 Hiking breakfast and lunch.
- 🍝 Dinner and rest in a rural refuge.
Day 4:
Return

- 🥾 Descent to Cocora Valley.

- ♿ Reduced mobility: Individuals with reduced mobility or difficulty completing demanding high-mountain routes.
- 🫀 Cardiac or respiratory conditions: Individuals with cardiac or respiratory conditions.
- 🤰 Pregnant women: Women who are pregnant.
- 👤 Age: 15 to 70 years old for routes, traverses, and summits.
- 💊 Medical treatment: If you are undergoing medical treatment, carry your medications with you throughout the entire trip.
- 🏔️ Physical condition: Adequate physical condition is required to walk in the high mountains and cope with altitude changes.
- 🧑🏫 Authorized guide: Entry must be made with an authorized guide and in compliance with the conditions established by the Park.

💳 Payment and booking policies
- Booking: You confirm your spot with 40% of the total value by sending the receipt to this chat. Deposits are non-refundable in cash.
- Balance (60%): Must be paid 10 days before the departure date, via transfer or cash.
- Maximum retention: Retention percentages are calculated based on the total tour price, up to the maximum amount you have paid. If you only paid the booking (40%), the most you can lose is that booking.
⚠️ Cancellation and rescheduling
- Cancellation more than 45 days in advance: 30% retention of the total value. The remainder is kept as a credit for a future departure.
- Cancellation between 30 and 44 days before: 30% retention + 20% penalty for logistical expenses.
- Cancellation between 11 and 29 days before: 40% retention of the total value. Since at this point you have only paid the booking (40%), this is fully retained; there is no refund.
- Cancellation 10 days or less in advance: 100% retention. At this point, you have paid the total balance and costs with providers (transportation, guide, insurance, permits) are committed. There is no refund or rescheduling.
- Transferring your spot: You can transfer your spot to another person up to 48 hours before departure, subject to prior approval. This way, you don't lose your payment if you can't go but someone you trust can.
- Minimum group size not reached: If the minimum group size is not met, the date will be rescheduled or 100% of the deposit will be refunded.
- Weather or force majeure: The departure will be rescheduled or a voucher for 100% of the deposit will be issued.
